HEAVY METALS TEST

Nickel, chromium, cobalt, mercury and palladium are heavy metals that can be highly allergenic to humans. We find them in nature, in many metal objects, but also in some detergents, cosmetics, dyes and even, in small quantities, in some foods. There are no cosmetics or products absolutely free of these heavy metals, but only those with a very low concentration that is not capable of triggering an allergic reaction. Scientific literature identifies this percentage threshold, within which contact allergies to Nickel, Chromium, Cobalt, Mercury, Palladium and other heavy metals do not occur, as equal to 0.0001% (also indicated as 1 ppm).

The wording «Nickel, Chromium, Cobalt, Mercury and Palladium tested» therefore indicates the control of the presence of these metals within the product below the threshold considered allergenic.

To ensure greater safety for the consumer when using products that come into contact with the skin and intimate mucous membranes, Ekuberg Pharma carries out specific and accurate tests on each production batch to verify that the concentrations of heavy metals are less than 0.00001%. .
